Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary En Route
In the morning, around 6:30 a.m., after your breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and embark on a 311km (5–6 hours) drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll make an en-route stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2-hour rhino track on foot. This thrilling encounter will offer you the opportunity to encounter the only 32 wild white rhinos in Uganda in their natural habitat.
After this unforgettable experience, eat lunch at Kabaleega Dinner before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park and home to the world’s longest river, the mighty Nile.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive In Murchison Falls National Park & An Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise To The Bottom Of The Falls
You’ll have an early breakfast at 6:30 am, then transfer to a 160-km-long Buligi game area for a morning game drive in the rolling Savannah plains of Murchison Falls Park, which holds over 80% of the animals of the park. While on the thrilling game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter classic big game-counting buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards, hippos, and giraffes, plus a variety of antelopes like Uganda Kobs, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Hartebeests, etc.
Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon (2 pm), you’ll embark on a relaxing 3-hour Nile boat cruise to the bottom of the falls to explore the giant Murchison Falls, the strongest waterfall in the world, emitting over 300 cm3/s of water. Day 3: Undertake A Private Boat Cruise To Lake Albert Nile Delta Area & a Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
You’ll have a thrilling breakfast at around 9.00 am and then transfer on a 4- to 5-hour (20km) boat cruise to Lake Albert Nile Delta, an amazing area where the Nile river enters into L. Albert, the best place to see the sought-after shoe bill bird.
This area boasts thousands of water birds, including saddle-billed stocks, pelicans, grey-crowned cranes, Red-throated bee-eaters, African darters, yellow-billed stork, the Goliath heron, kingfishers, etc.
You’ll spot animals, including hippos, submerged in water, as well as crocs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, and oribis, among others, along the edges. Your cruise ends at the confluence of the Victoria Nile and the Albert Nile.

Day 4: Visit The Top Of Murchison Falls And Transfer To Kibale National Park
After breakfast at 8:30 am, visit the top of Murchison Falls to view the world’s strongest waterfalls from another eye-catching perspective. You’ll witness the 50-meter-wide giant Nile fighting to pass through an 8-meter gorge before plunging onto a 45-meter cliff to form a devil’s cauldron.
After this dramatic scenery, embark on a drive to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of Africa, passing through the amazing countryside of the Albertine rift valley.
You reach the beautiful town of Fort Portal in time for lunch, have lunch, then continue (1-hour drive) to Kibale Forest, famous for its highest density of primates in Africa, with 13 primate species, including over 1500 wild chimpanzees.

After an early breakfast at 6:30 am, you’ll transfer to Kibale Park headquarters with your packed lunch for the chimp trekking briefing at 8 am. After, embark on a 2- to 5-hour trek in the jungle in search of the habituated chimp community—the amazing closet cousins of a man sharing 98.7% DNA.
On encounter, you spend one hour with chimps, observing them feeding, swinging in trees, and grooming—a memorable experience worth undertaking. After, return to the briefing point for a packed picnic lunch. In the afternoon, undertake the Bigodi community village walk, spend time with the amazing local people and learn about their unique ways of life.

After breakfast at around 8:30 am, you embark on a 2-3 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most bio-diverse park in Uganda, boasting over 600 birds and 95 mammal species, counting 4 of the African safari’s big five, excluding rhinos.
On the drive, you’ll enjoy scenic views of crater lakes and rolling hills. Make a stop in Kasese on the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori (5109m high), the 3rd tallest mountain in Africa, to explore the Ruboni Community.
You’ll encounter the amazing, unique cultural traditions of the Bakonzo people, who have lived on the foothills of the mountains of the moon for centuries. You’ll get an opportunity to experience their way of life, the crops they grow, their art and craft, plus the amazing music, dance, and drama.

After the game encounter, return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch, and then embark on a 2-hour (at 2 pm) relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, an incredible 32-kilometer natural channel connecting Lake George to Edward, home to the world’s highest concentration of hippos in one place.

After a relaxed breakfast at 8 am, you’ll set off for a 160km (4–7 hours) drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the best area for spotting gorillas in Africa. You’ll pass via the Ishasha sector to get remarkable sights of the rare tree-climbing lions chilling in big fig tree branches. It’s said that Ishasha lions climb trees to escape the heat and bite insects on the ground.
After the thrilling encounter, drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest, home to 50% of the 1,063 mountain gorillas on earth with over 19 habituate gorilla families, 120 mammal species, 350 birds counting 23 Albertine endemic bird species, 10 primate species, and over 400 plant species, etc.—a must-not-miss destination for a memorable Uganda safari.

A memorable day in life, encountering the gentle giants in their natural habitat! After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Park headquarters with your packed lunch for the Uganda gorilla trekking briefing at 8 am. After, embark on an incredible 2-hour trek in the misty Bwindi forest in search of a habituated gorilla family group. On the trek, you’ll spot amazing wildlife, including monkeys, butterflies, and forest birds.
On encountering these shy giants, you’ll have one magical hour observing them feeding, grooming, and breastfeeding, plus appreciating the sheer size of the mighty silverback. Day 10: Do Whole Day Relaxation At Lake Bunyonyi With Various Optional Activities
After a cool breakfast at 9.00 am, you’ll do a canoe ride to explore some of the prominent, incredible historical islands of Lake Bunyonyi.
You’ll visit the horrific Akampene or Punishment Island, a place where unmarried pregnant girls could be abandoned to die of hunger or drown while trying to escape; however, lucky ones could survive when men unable to pay dowry could steal them from here. The practice was abandoned after the arrival of missionaries.

Day 14: Transfer Back to Entebbe For Your Departure Flight. Do Kampala City Tour (Optional)
After your breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport, 80km (2–3 hours). Depending on your flight time, you can decide to have a 5-hour city tour in Kampala, Uganda’s capital, which currently covers over 21 hills and has over 3.6 million people, dominated by the Baganda of the great Buganda kingdom who speak Luganda.
On your Kampala tour, you can visit the thrilling local markets in Kampala, the amazing taxi park, Gadaffi mosque for great views of Kampala hills, plus the Uganda national museum and the great Kasubi tombs, a UNESCO world heritage site—a burial ground for former Buganda kings, etc.
