Day 1: Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park. Visit Ziwa Sanctuary En Route To Track Rhino On Foot

At around 6.30 am, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park– the largest park in Uganda (5- 6 hours drive).  You’ll drive through scenic countryside, make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary- for rhino tracking and have a 2- hours encounter with the only 32 wild rhinos in Uganda on foot, a lifetime experience a must not miss!

After rhino trekking, have lunch at Kabalega Dinner, and continue to Murchison falls park– a superb destination for Uganda wildlife safaris home to over 76 mammals and 556 bird species, bisected by the longest river in the world on which the world’s strongest waterfall is located. Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat trip To the Bottom of Murchison Falls

After a warm breakfast at 6.30 am, you’ll transfer on a 3- 4 hours game drive in the beautiful rolling plains of Buligi game area in the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park boasting over 80% of the park’s wildlife. You’ll spot giraffes, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, lions, leopards, hyenas, warthogs, patas monkeys, olive baboons, plus numerous birds counting the secretary bird. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon (2 pm), you’ll embark on a relaxing 3 hours Nile boat cruise to the bottom of the falls to explore the enormous Murchison Falls– the strongest waterfall in the world. Day 3: Nile Delta Boat Safari & Evening Game Drive In Murchison Falls NP

After an early breakfast at 7 am, you’ll transfer to a 5- hours thrilling boat cruise to Lake Albert Nile delta– a place where the legendary Nile River enters L. Albert. It’s home to over 1000s of water birds, counting the rare shoebill stork, saddle billed socks, pelicans, grey crowned cranes, papyrus gonolek, African darter, yellow-billed stork, the goliath heron, kingfishers, etc.

Day 4: Visit The Top Of Murchison Falls & Transfer To Kibale National Park

After breakfast at 8 am, transfer to the top of Murchison Falls to view the world’s strongest waterfalls from a different perspective which is breathtaking. After, embark on a drive to Kibale National Park– the primate capital of Africa, passing through the impressive scenery of the Albertine rift valley.

You reach the beautiful town of Fort Portal in time for lunch, after lunch, continue the drive to Kibale forest national park– popular for the highest density of primates in Africa, with 13 primate species counting over 1500 wild chimps total.

After breakfast at 6:30 am, transfer to Kibale forest park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing at 8 am from a park ranger. After, you’ll embark on a 2- 5 hours trek in the jungle in search of the chimps- man’s closest relatives sharing 98.7% DNA. On encounter, you’ll spend one magical hour amazingly observing how chimps groom, eat, socialize, hunt, play, or swing in trees and after, return to the briefing point for a packed picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, take Bigodi community village walk, spend time with the friendly local people, learning about their unique ways of life including making local banana beer, and Waragi gin. Day 6: Morning Game Drive In Kasenyi Plains & Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After breakfast at 6 am, you’ll transfer to a 3- 4 hours game drive in the beautiful plains of Kasenyi sector and you start up your day with early grazers. On a lucky day, you can spot lions hunting. Other game animals to look out for include elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, antelope species etc.

Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a 2-hour relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel– home to the world’s highest concentrations of hippos in one place. While on the cruise, you’ll spot crocodiles basking, elephants bathing, buffaloes wallowing in mud, plus over 100 water bird species along the channel banks.

Day 7: Transfer To Bwindi. En-Route Game Drive In Ishasha In Search Of Tree Climbing Lions

After breakfast at 8.00 am, embark on a 4-7 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. En- route, have a short game drive in the Ishasha plains to spot the famous tree-climbing lions.

After the encounter, drive to Bwindi through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda as you make your way to the misty Bwindi impenetrable forest– home to almost 50% of the world’s 1063 mountain gorillas, 23 Albertine endemic birds, 10 primate species, over 120 mammal species etc. Arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
